I believe their greatest need would have to be water, food, and shelter. I believe this because since all those cities were washed away, the water is now contaminated, their food is destroyed, and they have to no where to go at night.
This would leave them dehydrated, hungry, and cold and tired.
They could get really sick, thus needing even MORE medical attention.

I think that their greatest current need is basical survival (such as food, shelter, medical supplies/help). Yes, their is the radiation problem but that is happening over a period of time not like the need for basical survival needs which is seen all of a sudden and is needed immediately.

Peopel in Japan need food. The tsunami wiped out most resources of food, so basically they have no food and witout food they will starve.

Right now in Japan, I believe food and clean water are of greatest necessity. A lot of people are suffering but mostly due to starvation which would require more medical attention.

What they need is the essentials, food, water and shelter. Another major necessisity is medical supplices. We have plently of this in Canada and i'm sure we could spare some for the people of Japan.

I believe Japan has many needs right now but i would have to say clean air and communication would be two big ones. Also just hope of a better tomorrow.

I believe their greatest need at this time would be shelter and food. The tsunami and earthquake destroyed and washed away most shelters and a lot of food sources.

I believe their greatest need at this point would be shelter and food. After the earthquake their homes were in bad enough shape but once the tsunami hit it totaly washed away everything in its path leaving away nothing but rubble, contaminated water and destroying farm land which is a great food source.

I think the greatest need after a natural disaster such as this would be food, water and some kind of shelter. People can't live without having food and water. As well, people would need support and love to get through a disaster as terrible as this. Imagine having everything taken away from you, you would need someone there to let you know that things will turn out alright. I believe those are the greastest needs of people in Japan at this moment.

Food. because the natural disaster, created an unatural problem, where toxic waste and things are leaking into their food supply. if they need anything they need food. the human body needs to be nurtured. If anything give them food.
